Map 2Fish is a project implemented in the framework of the Integrated Applications Promotion Program (IAP), of the European Space Agency (ESA). Its objective is the development of a web service and mobile application that delivers daily and hourly forecasts of sea areas with pelagic fish concentration probabilities and other supplementary forecasting information. In more technical terms, the web service and mobile application will provide the following forecast information layers: probability of fish concentration, sea temperature, dissolved oxygen, chlorophyll concentration, water transparency, waves, and currents.
